Education
We believe every child deserves access to quality education. Our education programmes focus on removing barriers to learning and strengthening school systems to protect and nurture every learner.
- Education access programmes targeting out-of-school children and vulnerable populations
- School safeguarding systems and comprehensive child protection frameworks in educational institutions
- Institutional capacity building for education authorities, teachers, and school administrators
- 2km maximum school access standard advocacy to ensure every child lives within walking distance of a school
- Learning materials provision and infrastructure support for underserved schools
- Community-school partnerships to enhance parental engagement and accountability
Protection
Protection is at the heart of our work. We strengthen systems that safeguard children, women, and vulnerable populations from exploitation, trafficking, and abuse.
- Child protection and safeguarding frameworks at community and institutional levels
- Anti-trafficking awareness campaigns and community-based prevention mechanisms
- Survivor identification, referral pathways, and comprehensive support services
- Community protection networks and volunteer mobilization for early warning systems
- Survivor support and economic reintegration programmes including business mentoring
- Legal advocacy and victim compensation guideline development (NAPTIP collaboration)
Good Governance
Strong institutions create lasting change. We advocate for transparent, accountable governance and empower citizens to hold institutions accountable.
- Policy advocacy and evidence-based institutional strengthening at state and national levels
- Civic engagement, voter education, and electoral integrity monitoring
- Public finance accountability including UBEC ₦2.60 Billion fund tracking and advocacy
- Multi-stakeholder governance platforms and civil society coalition building
- Legislative engagement and policy reform advocacy for vulnerable populations
- Institutional accountability mechanisms and transparency initiatives
Livelihoods & Economic Empowerment
Economic empowerment breaks cycles of poverty and vulnerability. We equip women, youth, and survivors with skills and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
- Skills development and vocational training tailored to local market demands
- Women and youth economic empowerment through entrepreneurship and business development
- Survivor-led business registration, start-up support, and ongoing mentoring (3 businesses registered)
- Social protection linkages connecting beneficiaries to government support programmes
- Financial literacy training and savings group mobilization
- Market access facilitation and value chain integration for small businesses
