Organizational Overview

Strengthening Systems. Protecting the Vulnerable.

JOPRAVIC Centre for Development Initiative (JOPRAVIC CDI) is an indigenous Nigerian non-governmental organization headquartered in Benin City, Edo State. Incorporated on 8 September 2021 (RC: 1838107), we work at community, state, and national levels to drive systemic change through evidence-based advocacy, institutional strengthening, and community empowerment.

Evidence-Based Advocacy

Every programme is documented, every outcome is measured. We use research and data to shape national policy and hold public institutions accountable.

Community Empowerment

Sustainable development requires empowered communities. We equip people with the knowledge, tools, and voice to lead their own development — not dependency.

  • Operating across 6 states in Nigeria with national-level policy engagement
  • Led the UBEC ₦2.60 Billion accountability campaign and contributed to national victim compensation guidelines with NAPTIP and IOM
  • Supported 3 survivor-led businesses and advocated for the 2km school access standard
  • RC: 1838107 — independent Board of Directors, transparent governance, and documented impact since 2021
